Dr. S S Lehl, MD is Reader in the department since 1999. He has worked in the department of rheumatology in PGIMER for three years. He has special interest in the field of Geriatric Medicine. He was a member of working group in a WHO workshop on health care of the elderly. The department of Medicine is the only department which is running a specialized clinic in geriatrics in this part of the country under his stewardship. He is on the national advisory board for the Journal of Indian Academy of Geriatrics. He has been co-investigator in 2 WHO sponsored projects related to health care of the elderly. He is also involved in non-invasive cardiac care looking after Tread mill test laboratory. He has several National and international publications to his credit. He has been elected as the honorary secretary of Indian Academy of Geriatrics.
