Conferences organized: The department has organized following National Conferences:

•  11th National Conference of Society of Indian Radiographers on Radiation Protection and Quality Assurance at national level in which 800 Delegates took part from all over India from January 8-10, 2005 at Govt.Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, and Chandigarh, India.
• North Zone CME-cum-One-day Seminar on ‘PC-PNDT Act’, organized by Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) -Punjab & Chd Branch & Deptt. of Radiodiagnosis, in association with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India, at GMCH-32, Chandigarh, on 7th September, 2008.
• CME on Women’s’ Imaging’ organized by Deptt. of Radiodiagnosis at GMCH-32, Chandigarh, in April 2009.
• 2nd National Conference of Indian Society of Radiation Technologist held from 25th to 26th September, 2015 at Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh in which 685 Delegates took part from all over India & abroad
• 3rd Annual conference of Chandigarh Chapter of IRIA on Women’s Imaging organized by Deptt. of Radiodiagnosis at GMCH-32, Chandigarh in March 2016.
• 4th Annual conference of Chandigarh Chapter of IRIA on Gastrointestinal Imaging organized by Deptt. of Radiodiagnosis at GMCH-32, on 12th March 2017.
• 9th Annual conference of Chandigarh Chapter of IRIA on Chest & Cardiac Imaging organized by Deptt. of Radiodiagnosis at GMCH-32, on 11th -12th  December,2021.
