SERVICES

OUT PATIENTS (OPD) SERVICES:

The department is well equipped with basic as well as latest equipments to handle all kinds of OPD patients. We are also running following special clinics to provide specialized services in respective fields:

a) MDR TB Clinic Tuesday / 9.00 to 1.00 pm
b) COPD & Quit Smoking Clinic Saturday / 9.00 to 1.00 pm
c) PFT Dalie / 9.00 to 5.00 pm

 

d) DOTS under RNTCP Daily / 9.00 to 5.00 pm

 

e) Bronchoscopy Once a week (Thursday) / 09:00 am onwards

 

f) Pulmonary Rehabilitation 2 days in a week (Monday & Wednesday) / 9.00 am onwards

INDOOR PATIENTS SERVICES

The Department offers indoor treatment facilities for patients who need hospitalisation through a total of 30 beds for both male and female patients. The emergency services are available round the clock through emergency department and we are adequately equipped to deal with all respiratory emergencies.

SPECIALIZED SERVICES:

  • Fibre Optic Bronchoscopy.
  • Bronchial biopsy, BAL, Bronchial brushing, Foreign Body Removal, TBLB, TBNA
  • ICD Insertion, Pleural biopsy, Pleural air, Pleurodesis and fluid aspirations
  • Pulmonary Function Tests & Spirometry
  • Pulse Oximetery
  • Mantoux Test.
  • NTEP center
  • DOTS Plus services
  • Surveillance and drug distribution center for all types of tuberculosis patients.
  • Non-invasive Ventilation
  • Pulmonary Rehabilitation
  • MDR TB care services

NEW FACILITIES ADDED

The department has newly been established.

ii.Bedside Clinical Demonstrations.

COMMUNITY SERVICES :

Organization of free medical camps (TB, Asthma, COPD etc.) for lower socio-economic strata patients in the sub urban localities and slums, is our regular feature. Asthma awareness workshops/public lectures for general public and patients are being regularly organized to educate them on the subject to manage their disease better. Health education of general public through mass media e.g. newspapers, radio etc. is also a regular feature of department.
