TELS is a one day course that is held every month for the Chandigarh police, Chandigarh traffic police and responsible volunteers of Chandigarh. This course is a joint effort of Chandigarh police and Government Medical College Hospital-32 for the welfare of society of ‘ The City Beautiful’,Chandigarh.The course comprises of Prehospital care, First aid, Ambulance services, Basic life support, Care of trauma patient on field & in- hospital and safe transportation of victim to the hospital.
     This course is started  with immense efforts of Deputy Inspector General,Mr Alok Kumar(IPS) and Director Principal GMCH-32,Prof. Raj Bahadur for conducting this course.The training is conducted by eminent faculties from GMCH -32 ,from various specialties like Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Orthopaedics and General Surgery.A certificate is provided to the participants who clear the skill evaluation and multiple choice questions successfully at the end of the day.
