About the College Government Medical College, Sector 32, Chandigarh is affiliated to the Panjab University Chandigarh and is recognized by Medical Council of India. The college is having an intake of 50 students per year for MBBS course. The admission for MBBS course are finalized in the last week of June. General Information about Attached Hospital:

The patients seeking services in the hospital are registered and issued a card for recording various details of the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment provided. A regular faculty allowed to attend Conference / Seminar / Workshop at International Level once in a span of 4 years and at National Level once in a financial year on government expenses as per schedule given below:-

(I) For International Conference:-

1. Approval of D.P. through A.D.A. within one week.
2. Then approval of HE’ through SMER including vigilance clearance within 1 ½ month.

(II) For National Level Conference:-

1. Approval of D.P. through A.D.A. within one week.
2. Approval of SMER within 10-15 days.
