FUTURE PLANS

Chest Ultrasound
  •
Medical Thoracoscopy
  •
The department has intake of 2 MD students annually and most probably as per MCI guidelines it may increased from 2 to 4  Thus, the strength of MD students would be 4 plus carry forward at a time and this will further increase the teaching workload to impart the quality training to the budding specialists.
The department has already submitted the requisite application to MCI. The matter is under consideration with MCI and waiting its approval.
  •
The department is in the mid way of developing a Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) and some of the equipment for the same has already been procured.
We are not able to proceed in want of manpower (Senior Resident, Staff Nurses, Respiratory Physiotherapist etc.) as proposed for the project. The requirement in this regard has already been submitted 4-5 years ago.
