Chest

Medical Thoracoscopy |
The
department has intake of 2 MD students annually and most probably as per MCI guidelines it
may increased from 2 to 4 Thus, the strength
of MD students would be 4 plus carry forward at a time and this will further increase the
teaching workload to impart the quality training to the budding specialists. |
The
department has already submitted the requisite application to MCI. The matter is under
consideration with MCI and waiting its approval.
The department
is in the mid way of developing a Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) and some of the
equipment for the same has already been procured. |
We are not able
to proceed in want of manpower (Senior Resident, Staff Nurses, Respiratory Physiotherapist
etc.) as proposed for the project. The requirement in this regard has already been
submitted 4-5 years ago. |
